This in light grey painted model is completely made of plastic.
It lies in a plastic bag together with additional 2 masts.
Two different packages are known:
1)
A cardboard box consisting of a bottom box and a top with printing on it. The printing on top of the box is a blue field with 'WIKING', 'SCHIFFS', 'MODELLE' and '1:1250' on the left and a white field with 'N 1', 'Minenleger', 'OLAV TRYGGVASON' and 'WIKING-MODELLBAU * 1 BERLIN 45' on the right. The printing on the right front side shows 'OLAV TRYGGVASON' plus Wiking-Logo 'WM' with 'GERMANY' plus the price of '1,80'
2)
A plastic bag with a paper inlet.
The printing on the left side is a blue field with 'WIKING' + 'SCHIFFS' + 'MODELLE' + '1:1250'. On the right side there is a list of ships with two rows including a price (Zerst. Hunt Kl. 3,- / U-B. Thames 2,- / U-B. Porpoise 2,- / Freg. Rothesay Kl. 6,- / Freg. Leopard Kl. 6,- and Freg. Restigouche Kl. 6,- / Zerst. Halland 6,- / S-B. Plejad Kl. 2,- / M-L. Tryggvason 4,- / Torp.-B. Sleipner 2,-), where in front of 'M-L. Tryggvason' a red spot is painted. Beneath the list 'WIKING-MODELLBAU * 1 BERLIN 45' is printed.
